A new poster and trailer for Mr. Nice, the biopic of Howard Marks starring Rhys Ifans, has just been released via HeyUGuys.

The movie, which is based on Mark’s autobiography of the same name, tells the story of the former teacher, drug smuggler and author who achieved notoriety as an international hashish smuggler through high-profile court cases, supposed connections with groups such as the IRA, and the Mafia, and his eventual conviction at the hands of the American Drug Enforcement Administration. At the height of his drug career, he was said to have controlled 10% of the world’s hashish trade.

The movie is directed by Bernard Rose and stars, amongst others, Chloe Sevigny, David Thewlis, and Crispin Glover, alongside Ifans.

The movie is out October 8th.
