While Get Him to the Greek is setting itself up to be the The Hangover style comedy success of the summer another runner is slowly making its way up the inside. Dinner for Schmucks, which featured the comedic talent of Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, has just debuted a new trailer.

The movies premise is simple enough, a bunch of high-flying corporate executives must battle each other to see who can bring the stupidest, most ridiculous guest to dinner.

With a stellar line-up that features David Walliams, Zach Galifianakis, Jemaine Clement, Bruce Greenwood, Larry Wilmore, Ron Livingston, Chris O’Dowd, etc., in addition to Carrell and Rudd, this definitely has the comic presence to be a mega-hit.

The movie is out August 20th.

I got a little excited when I saw Jermaine’s name, but Chris O’Dowd! Excellent. Do you know how big his part is? I’d love to see him get his break into Hollywood.

Chris is playing Marco the Blind Swordsman. Apparently he spends most of his time in front of the camera stabbing the air blindly with a huge sword. Inside sources say that he could well end up stealing the show.

He’s also in Gulliver’s Travels, so it looks like his Hollywood career is taking off.
