Irish TV will be hosting a training course in television presenting in Dublin on the 16th and 17th of April.
The course will explore all aspects of Television presenting, from scripting to screen presentation and aims to give participants a full working knowledge of what it takes to become a professional television presenter. The weekend course will include two days of theoretical and practical approaches, covering everything from researching and scripting reports, to gaining familiarity with camera and sound equipment and perfecting on-screen techniques.
The course is run by director Theo O’Grady and television presenter Malachi Cush. Each participant will receive a professional standard showreel and headshots that may be used when applying to television organisations. The course will also give applicants the chance to meet and network with industry professionals and may lead to employment opportunities.
