Irish web series Sucking Diesel, by filmmaker Maurice O' Carroll and produced by Sinéad O' Riordan, has won Best International Web Series at NYCWebFest.
Writer/director Stephen Gaffney’s horror debut Red Room is set to open the 8th Underground Cinema Film Festival in Dun Laoghaire on August 31st.
Sucking Diesel is a four-part web series written and directed by Maurice O'Carroll (Dead Along the Way) which currently available to view on You Tube for a limited time. Scannain caught up with O'Carroll to talk about the venture.
Production is currently underway in Dublin on a new six-part drama series for RTÉ called Acceptable Risk, starring Elaine Cassidy and Angeline Ball.
Stephen Gaffney’s Red Room will screen this evening at Movies@Dundrum and Movies@Swords, with another screening at the Gate Midleton on November 8th.
