Yesterday 20th Century Fox released a new feature trailer for X-Men: First Class. Today we get the international version. This one is tonally different, and offers new footage including a first look at Oliver Platt and Ray Wise.
The movie is a prequel to the X-Men trilogy, set during the 1960?s, that looks at the creation of Xavier’s School for mutants and the assembly of the first X-Men team.
With Kick Ass helmer Matthew Vaughan behind the camera and a cast that includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence and Lucas Till, X-Men: First Class is shaping up to be really, really good.
X-Men: First Class is released June 3rd.
Synopsis:
X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, following the classic Marvel mythology, charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
