20th Century Fox has released another international trailer for Water for Elephants.  It’s similar to the recent US domestic trailer, but again offers another look at the beautiful design of this movie.

The movie is set during the Great Depression and follows the story of a veterinary student who looks after the animals of a travelling circus. There he falls for performer Marlena, but their romance is complicated by Marlena’s husband, who just so happens to be manager of the show.

Pattison plays the vet to be, with Reese Witherspoon as Marlena, and the always brilliant Christopher Waltz her rather bizarre husband.  The whole show is directed by I Am Legend helmer Francis Lawrence.

Water For Elephants is released April 22nd, 2011.

Synopsis:

Veterinary school student Jacob (Pattinson) meets and falls in love with Marlena (Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds – including the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August (Christopher Waltz) – Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.
