A24 Films has released an international and domestic (US) trailer for 28 Days Later writer Alex Garland’s feature debut, Ex Machina.
The film sees a young programmer selected to participate in a breakthrough experiment in artificial intelligence by evaluating the human qualities of a breathtaking female A.I. Turns out that the A.I. is more sophisicated and seductive than he could have imagined.
Local boy Domhnall Gleeson stars alongside his Star Wars compatriot Oscar Issac, with Alicia Vikander as the machine.
Ex Machina is out in Ireland January 23rd, and in the US on April 10th.
