A24 films has released the first poster and trailer for J.C. Chandor’s A Most Violent Year, and it looks the business.
The film tells the story of an immigrant and his family trying to expand their business amidst violence, decay, and corruption during one of the most violent years in New York City’s history, 1981.
This is the latest from Margin Call and All Is Lost director Chandor, and stars Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, with cinematography by Bradford Young. That’s awards calibre talent all round.
A Most Violent Year is out January 23rd.
