Our good friends over at HeyUGuys have found an international trailer for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. It features some slightly extended footage and a rejigged scene order, but mostly it’s the same as the US version. Even still it impresses.
The Secret of the Unicorn is the first of a planned trilogy of movie, based on Hergé’s classic comic creation, which will be directed by the two cinematic giants, and revolves around the titular sleuth’s first encounter with friend for life Captain Haddock.
The movie features motion-captured performances from Jamie Bell as Tintin, Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock, with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Thompson and Thomson. Daniel Craig plays Red Rackham, with additional support from Cary Elwes, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook and Daniel Mays.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn in 3D will be released December 23rd in the US, with Ireland and the UK a whole 3 months earlier on October 26th.
Synopsis:
