Momentum Pictures have released a new image from their forthcoming drama The Woman in Black, featuring Daniel Radcliffe in period costume and looking rather dapper.
Adapted from the novel by Susan Hill the movie tells the story centres on a young solicitor, Arthur Kipps, who goes to a small British market town in order to settle the estate of Mrs Alice Drablow, an elderly widow who lived alone in the desolate and secluded Eel Marsh House. Whilst resident in this house he experiences terrifying noises and ghostly spectres, forcing him to come to terms with the terrible secret of the Drablow family.
Radcliffe stars as Kipps, alongside a cast that includes Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer, David Burke, Sidney Johnston and Alisa Khazanova. The Woman in Black is the second film from Eden Lake director James Watkins. This time he is working from a script written by Kick-Ass scribe Jane Goldman. All in all we should be looking at a very good scary movie right here.
The Woman in Black is due in cinemas February 12th, 2012.
