ShockTillYouDrop has posted an exclusive first look at the US one-sheet poster for The Monk, Domink Moll’s adaptation of Matthew Lewis’s gothic novel of the same name. This poster is just too cool not to post.

The film sees Vincent Cassell play Ambrosio, a devout monk whose seductive and captivating sermons have made him an attractive figure and it is these qualities, along with the arrival of the mysterious and disfigured Valerio which provide the fertile ground for his downfall.

The Monk was released in Ireland last year, but is finally making it’s way Stateside on March 8th..
