Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for Pete Jackson’s third and concluding part of the The Hobbit trilogy, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.
Following directly on from The Desolation of Smaug the film sees the great dragon descend on Laketown, and a the races of Elves, Men, Dwarves, Goblins, and Eagles clash over the treasures of Erebor.
All of the cast from the last two movies return, including Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry, Cate Blanchett, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, and Orlando Bloom.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is out in Ireland on December 17th.
