I’m a big Matt Damon fan so when a trailer for a new movie with him in it comes along it’s like a mini Christmas. Today is one of those days as the first trailer for The Adjustment Bureau has been released.

The plot is (very) loosely based on the Philip K Dick short story The Adjustment Team, and sees Damon play US political hopeful David  Norris (no relation to our eminent senator). His career trajectory veers off-course when he meets and falls for ballet dance Elise Sellas, casing sinister agents from an agency known as the Adjustment Bureau to intervene in his life. Love or politics which will he choose?

Emily Blunt plays Elise, with the always excellent John Slattery and Terrence Stamp playing agents of the bureau. The trailer looks good so I’ll be sure to check this out when it’s released July 30th.
