Second UK one-sheet poster and first clip for Life of Pi

The second UK one-sheet poster and the first video clip for Ang Lee’s adaptation of the Yann Martel novel Life of Pi have found their way online. This clip is one of those that featured at Movie Fest last month and showcases the impressive visuals that will be the hallmark of this film.

The film follows Pi, a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship’s only other survivor — a fearsome Bengal tiger.

Life of Pi opens in Ireland on December 20.

Synopsis:

After the tragic sinking of a cargo ship, a solitary lifeboat remains bobbing on the wild, blue Pacific. The only survivors from the wreck are a sixteen year-old boy named Pi, a hyena, a zebra (with a broken leg), a female orangutan – and a 450-pound Royal Bengal tiger. The scene is set for one of the most extraordinary and best-loved works of fiction in recent years.
