Element Pictures Distribution (EPD) announced today that they are to be the exclusive Irish distributor of the Royal Opera House Live Cinema Season.
Expanding on their existing relationship the deal will see EPD handle the sales and marketing for the ROH Live Cinema Season 2016/17. Set to be the most exciting season to date it will feature six operas and six ballets screened live from the iconic Covent Garden stage.
Highlights from the upcoming Season include 2016 Olivier Award winner Woolf Works, Wayne McGregor’s critically acclaimed ballet inspired by the writings of Virginia Woolf. The Royal Ballet’s classic The Nutcracker, the return of The Sleeping Beauty (the company’s first production on the Covent Garden stage in 1946) and Jonas Kaufmann’s highly anticipated role debut in Verdi’s Otello.
