Red Riding Hood nabs a poster

If you go down to the woods today…you’ll probably find Amanda Seyfried dressed in scarlet if this new poster for Red Riding Hood is anything to go by.

Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family’s displeasure. Seems little Miss Hood is not as innocent as some would believe…

The film is directed by Twilight helmer Catherine Hardwicke. It seems she just can’t get away from werewolves. On the positive side Hardwicke has gathered a good cast to compliment Seyfried, which includes Gary Oldman, Billy Burke, Shiloh Fernandez, Max Irons, Virginia Madsen and Julie Christie.

The film is released in the US on March 11th, with Ireland catching a glimpse April 15th.
