20th Century Fox has released three new posters for Ridley Scott’s biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. When we saw these appear earlier we hoped that they were fake, fan-made creations, but no it appears that they are official…and terrible.

The film is an interpretation of the exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt as led by Moses and related in the Old Testament Book of Exodus.

Christian Bale stars as Moses, with Joel Edgerton as Egyptian pharaoh Ramesses II. They are ably supported by a great (if all pretty white) cast that includes John Turturro, Aaron Paul, Ben Mendelsohn, Sigourney Weaver, and Ben Kingsley.

Exodus: Gods and Kings is out December 26th.

From acclaimed director Ridley Scott comes the epic adventure “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” the story of one man’s daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Using state of the art visual effects and 3D immersion, Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
