The first trailer for Abel Ferrara’s Pasolini has been released, ahead of the film’s debut at the Venice Film Festival.
The film is a look at the final days of Italian filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, who is most famous for Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, and centres on the confusion surrounding his death in 1975.
The film stars Willem Defoe in the title role, alongside Maria de Medeiros, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Giada Colagrande.
Pasolini does not yet have a release date, but expect it early 2015.
