Dracula Untold Moved Up

Dracula UntoldUpcoming new take on the legend of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Dracula Untold, has been moved up by a week with release date changed from October 17th to October 10th, to avoid going head to head with Brad Pitt’s epic war movie Fury. Dracula Untold was to be released nearer to Halloween to take advantage of the spooky cinema going, but with this change in release dates could see a fall in revenue regardless of avoiding competition with Fury due to it’s early October release.

Jessica Chastain and Kristen Wiig want The Martian

NBC's "70th Annual Golden Globe Awards" - ArrivalsWomen of the moment, Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar) and Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Anchorman 2) are said to be interested in starring alongside Matt Damon in the new Ridley Scott blockbuster The Martian, with Damon as an astronaut on Mars. Chastain and Wiig are apparently in early talks with the director, and nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

George Clooney for Hack Attack

The movie will be released by Sony Pictures, with no further details announced at this time.

The Rock for Shazam

The star tweeted yesterday ” “Kneel at his feet or get crushed by his boot.” My honor to become.. #BlackAdam #TheAntiHero #DCComics”. No further details yet.

CHiPs for the big screen

article-0-0CF41C6E000005DC-175_468x301Wonderful cop show “CHiPs” is finally getting a big screen outing, with Dax Shepard (Without A Paddle, MTV’s Punk’d) starring in, as well as writing and directing, the movie for Warner Bros. Michael Pena (World Trade Center, End Of Watch) will play Ponch, originally played by Erik Estrada, and Shepard will take on the role of Jon, originally played by Larry Wilcox in the classic biker cops show, which ran for 6 years, 1977-1983. No more information has been released.
