Dreamworks Animation has released the first teaser trailer (and two posters) for the sequel to 2008’s great animated comedy Kung Fu Panda, titled Kung Fun Panda 2…original I know! They do appear to have dropped the Kaboom of Doom suffix that accompanied earlier word on this project though.

The film sees Po and the Furious Five venture to China to battle a villain and uncover the secrets of Po’s mysterious origins.

Original stars Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Lui, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen and David Cross are all back, with three big name new voices in the shape of Michelle Yeoh, Jean Claude Van Damme and Gary Oldman.

Kung Fu Panda 2 will be released, in 3D, on May 27th, 2011.
