Guy Pearce character poster for Shane Black’s Iron Man 3

Marvel Studios has released a second character poster for Shane Black’s Iron Man 3. This one features Guy Pearce’s Dr. Aldrich Killian, a scientist who’s involved with nano technology and the Extremis virus in the Marvel universe.

Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang director Black is taking over at the helm with Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Jon Favreau all returning in starring roles. Ben Kingsley is on villain duties as the Mandarin, with Pearce and Rebecca Hall also newcomers.

Iron Man 3 will come to Irish screens April 26th, 2013.

Synopsis:

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of Tales of Suspense (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man (#1) in May of 1968.
