Gleeson is joined by a stellar (pun intended) cast that includes Attack the Block‘s John Boyega, British actress Daisy Ridley, Girls star Adam Driver, Inside Llewyn Davis’ Oscar Isaac, legendary actor Max von Sydow, and mo-cap genius Andy Serkis. The 7 join existing cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

Empire Strikes Back  writer Lawrence Kasdan has penned the script, alongside Abrams, with John Williams returning as the composer.
