Ever wonder what would happen if there was a love triangle involving Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson? Well wonder no-more as Columbia Pictures upcoming new comedy How Do You Know features just that!
Wilson plays a professional baseball player, while Rudd plays a white collar executive, who are but lusting after professional softball player Witherspoon. The whole thing is directed by The Simpsons producer and As Good As It Gets director James L. Brooks, who has a decent record in the rom-com biz.
It’s the involvement of Brooks that gives me hope on this and in Rudd he has a great comedic actor to play the hang-dog to Wilson’s over-exuberance.
The movie is due out December 17th in the States but I have yet to see an Irish release date.
