If you thought the last poster for Hobo With a Shotgun was great…and it was…then you are going to love this new one, which is even better! It harks back to a simpler time and homages the exploitation movies of the 70’s.
Like the recent Robert Rodriguez release Machete, Hobo With A Shotgun is based on a fake trailer that was featured in Quentin Tarantino and Rodriguez’ double-header Grindhouse. The trailer was a competition winning entry from Jason Eisener, who now gets a chance to bring his vision to a full-length feature.
The plot revolves around a homeless man who becomes a violent, shotgun-wielding vigilante upon entering a crime-ridden city.It stars Rutger Hauer, the legendary Dutch actor, star of Blade Runner, and all-round legend.
There’s still no release date set, but with the film featuring at Sundance that should change very soon.
