Fresh from Sundance comes a movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rainn Wilson and Natalie Portman. Thought that might get your attention. It’s called Hesher and here’s a the first (probably unofficial) trailer.
The movie sees Gordon-Levitt play an apathetic loner pyromaniac, called Hesher, who befriends a kid named T.J., a young boy that has moved into his grandma’s house with his father after the death of his mother.
Wilson plays the dad, with Devin Brochu as T.J and Portman as the possible love interest. The film received mixed reviews at Sundance, but with the calibre of the cast it’s got to be at least worth a look.
The film has no Irish release date, but will hit limited screens in the US in April.
Synopsis:
Hesher is a loner. He hates the world and everyone in it. He has long greasy hair and homemade tattoos. He is malnourished and smokes a lot of cigarettes. He likes fire and blowing things up. He lives in his van, until he meets TJ.
