Four Brothers – Wahlberg attached to sequel

It seems that Marky Mark, sorry Mark Wahlberg, has latched on to a new wholly original idea for his next movie. He’s going to make a sequel to his 2005 starrer Four Brothers called…wait for it…Five Brothers!

The last movie centred on a group of four adopted siblings who came together to avenge the murder of their adoptive matriarch. Somewhere out there there’s potentially a fifth brother who just couldn’t be bothered helping out the others in their time of need.

Original writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett are back, with Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund set to reprise their roles alongside Wahlberg. No word yet as to the involvement of director John Singleton, who is currently hard at work on an adaptation of comic book icon Luke Cage.
