Last minute submissions for Sheffield Doc/Fest 2017 are still open. The festival is a world leading and the UK’s premier documentary festival, celebrating the art and business of documentary and all non-fiction storytelling. The 2017 festival takes place June 9th to 14th. Last year Ireland was represented by 5 films at the festival; Bobby Sands: 66 Days, Crash and Burn, The Land of the Enlightened, Mattress Men, and Grey Area.

The Film & Alternate Realities programmes showcase the best new feature, short, interactive and virtual reality documentaries from international debut and established filmmakers to an audience of over 32,000.
