JDIFF – Only one week left to volunteer

Quick folks, there is only one week left to volunteer for the 8th Annual Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

The festival, which runs from February 18th to 28th, will feature the very best in domestic and international movies, with more than a few exclusives.

The JDIFF is one of the highlights of my cinematic year and I’m really looking forward to spending a few days in Dublin’s great halls of movie magic.

The highlight each year is the surprise film which manages to catch the cinema going public, and one or two experts, out every single year. Last year was a great example with the film chosen outfoxing everyone, Hamlet 2 starring Steve Coogan.

Volunteering is a great way to experience the festival, while also getting to see the inner workings of an international event. Ultimately it’s about adding your own contribution to the sucess of this great Irish institution and the feeling of pride that accompanies it.

Volunteers are needed in order to help out with Venues, Administration & Production, Event Hospitality and Ticketing. As the entire event is not-for-profit event, the Festival could not happen without the support and dedication of the legendary volunteers.

So if you are 18 years or older you can download one of the below forms and submit it to volunteers@jdiff.com by the 20th January.
