Dublin Film Critics Circle announce their Best Films of 2013

Every year the fine film critics of our nation’s capital gather together to decree from upon-high what they deem to be the best films, directors, screenplays and performance of the year. And every year it produces an eclectic and brilliant list.

2013 is no exception with the list of best films including box-office busting blockbusters, documentaries, and small art-house fare. Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity came out top of the pile, with Cuarón also taking the top nod in the best directors list. As the lists encompass all films releases in Ireland in 2013 some of last year’s Oscar big guns are still in the mix.
