Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader – 3 new clips

Narniafans.com have posted 3 new clips for the third movie in the Chronicles of Narnia franchise,  The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. These were specially made for a Christian group in the US called the Group Family Ministry. Now I don’t believe that religion and movies should ever mix, but it pretty well known that the Narnian tales  are grounded in Christian themes and mythology, so I can see why religious groups would advocate watching them.

Anyway the three clips give away some details of the story, the first by 20th Century Fox after Disney gave up on the franchise, and introduces Eustace Scrubb, the cousin of the Pevensies and a genuinely unlikable creature. The movie of course is based on the fourth book ad sees the Pevensies and Eustace join Prince Caspian aboard the titular Dawn Treader for a journey to Aslan’s country.

From these clips it would appear that the acting hasn’t improved much if any, but the quality of the CGI and costumes remains high. Hopefully the 3D won’t take away from the visual when this is released December 10th.
