The Fingal Film Festival, which is a not-for-profit organisation, is looking for an Assistant LTI Training Coordinator to work on their TV & Film Production Programme, at their Santry based office.
Reporting Relationship: Reporting to the LTI Coordinator. The aim of the programme is to provide the learners with the opportunity to engage in Media TV & Film Production programme and to identify progression routes into further training, education or employment options available. The Assistant LTI Training Coordinator under the guidance of the LTI Coordinator is responsible for the planning, delivery and reporting of the LTI Training Programme with ETB and Fingal Film Festival .
The ideal candidate should have:
- A qualification in the area of Media is an advantage
- A minimum of Train the Trainer FETAC Level 6 or equivalent is essential
- Office management and organisational skills, an ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Experience and ability to deal with the public
- Experience and knowledge in teaching Communications and Team building, and also Personnel Effectiveness in the workplace, also computer programmes and delivering administration LTI modules is a must.
General Overview of Responsibilities
- To assist in the development of the LTI in consultation with the co-ordinator and all stakeholders
- Assist with QQI accreditation and facilitate learners in pursuing and achieving a major QQI 5 award
- Direct delivery of QQI modules to all learners on the Local Training Initiative – specifically Media and Communications Modules, Personal Effectiveness, Career Planning and Work Experience
Specific Duties
- Assist in the running of Full time LTI project
- Assist to co-ordinate the learners registration with ETB when new project starts
- Provide on-going support to learners to ensure they benefit from and successfully complete the programme
- Assist in the design, delivery and evaluation of modules for the LTI
- Assist in the planning and execution of accreditation of the LTI modules
- Hands on delivery of training QQI major award modules at level 5
- Take part in regular meetings with the co-ordinator to develop on-going work plans / schedules to ensure smooth management of the Modules
- Provide individual support and evaluation to all course participants
- Support the evaluation of learners progress with regular group and individual sessions
- Develop individual learning plans with learners and facilitate progression to other forms of training, education or employment
- Assist with the compliance of all ETB requirements
- Assist in the production and retention of all project records in accordance with the requirements of QQI level 5
- Monitor, record and report course participants’ attendance to ETB on a weekly basic
- Implement Health and Safety procedures as per current legislation
Required experience
The ideal candidate will have experience working with ETB/LTI projects for at least one year
