Walt Disney Pictures has given us another new picture of their forthcoming movie Alice in Wonderland, from one of my favourite directors Tim Burton. The new picture depicts the Mad Hatter, played by Johnny Depp, hiding behind a large mushroom. (Click for a larger image)
Newcomer Mia Wasikowska plays the 19-year-old Alice, who returns to Wonderland 10 years after her initial trip down the rabbit hole. She finds the world has become a very different place indeed, with the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) now ruling with an iron fist. It is up to Alice to save the day and free Wonderland from her tyrannical reign.
The movie is out in Irish cinemas on March 5th, 2010.
