Bill Clinton is set to appear in a new HBO movie A Special Relationship, played by Dennis Quaid. Not exactly the first name that springs to mind but judging by the below image he doesn’t look half bad as the 42nd American president.

Richard Loncraine directs a Peter Morgan script which will focus on the relationship between Clinton and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Michael Sheen is all set to play the British Prime Minister for a third time, becoming more Blair than Blair in the process.

Whether Quaid can nail Clinton’s soft nature and southern mannerisms will be the key but it should be an interesting movie nevertheless. The movie is set for a late 2010 release Stateside so potentially early 2011 on this side of the pond.
