Via THR comes the first look at Irish actor Robert Sheehan in Dean Devlin’s next feature, Bad Samaritan.
Sheehan stars alongside Scottish actor David Tennant (Broadchurch) as two car valets who use their business as a front to rob patrons homes. The pair get into serious trouble when on of these home invasions goes awry.
The script for Bad Samaritan comes from Brandon Boyce (Apt Pupil), with Devlin producing through Electric Entertainment. Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan will also produce. Shooting on the film will take place later this year in Portland, Oregon.
Sheehan recently worked with Devlin on Geostorm, which is scheduled for release on October 20th. He was most recently seen in Season 2 of the Sky Atlantic TV series Fortitude.
Electric Entertainment is selling Bad Samaritan at the Cannes Marché du Film. International rights have been acquired for the Netherlands (Dutch Filmworks), South Korea (Wise & Wide), Turkey, Greece, Indonesia and Malaysia (Tanweer), Germany (Atlas), Latin American (Imagem), and the Middle East (Eagle). Jaguar has acquired the international airline rights.
