#IrishTalent: Neil Jordan’s new series Riviera airs in full on Sky Atlantic, June 15th

Academy Award-winning Irish writer/director Neil Jordan‘s new TV series Riviera will be available from June 15th in Ireland and the UK on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV, with all episodes available on the first day.

Billed as an intoxicating thriller, the 10-part series follows the moral descent of American art dealer Georgina Clios, whose idyllic life is shattered when her billionaire husband is killed in mysterious circumstances. But his death leads Georgina into the shadowy, criminal underworld that lurks beneath dazzling fortunes.

The series originated with Jordan, who created the world and characters from an original idea by former U2 manager Paul McGuinness. This world of Riviera is brought to life by a world-class array of acting talent that includes Julia Stiles, Iwan Rheon, Lena Olin, Phil Davis, and Adrian Lester. The series shot on location in the French Riviera.  Jordan wrote the first two episodes, with Irish author John Banville another of the credited screenwriters.

In Riviera, the fortune that maintains an immaculate, ever-so-tasteful lifestyle is revealed to be tainted with dishonesty, double-dealing, crime and, in the end, murder. So Riviera is, at its heart, a story of the genuinely filthy rich.
