#IrishTalent: Gary Shore to direct The Great Game

THR is reporting that Dublin-born director Gary Shore will direct The Great Game, a film about the famous Nobel family.

The film is written by Black List writer Bryan McMullin, and follows a young Emmanuel Nobel (nephew of Alfred) as he tries to navigate his place amongst his genius family and a romance with a mysterious ballerina.

Producers Cross Creek are working with the Nobel family, patrons of the annual prizes in physics, chemistry, peace, medicine, economics, and literature.

Shore is best known for directing Dracula Untold, as well as the St. Patrick’s Day segment of anthology film Holidays.
