Want to help an entirely new generation of Irish filmmakers take a big step on the road to becoming awards contenders?
Well now you can! The second-year students of St John’s College’s Advanced TV and Film Production course are making four short films – a modern comedic western, a sci-fi romance, a dark fairytale, and a coming-of-age comedy.
To help aid their quest to make these short films the students need to raise €1,500 in finance for their visions. To this end they have opened a FundIt page, which will accept contributions until February 28th. You can follow their progress on Facebook and Twitter.
St. John’s Central College is a further education college in Cork City, which offers courses in association with WebWorks and the Digital Skills Academy. The Advanced TV and Film Programme is a FETAC Advanced Certificate: Film, TV & Video Level 6 course.
