Augmented Reality – Martin Maguire’s Project Archetype on display at Pálás Galway

A familiar sight on film sets, noted stills photographer Martin Maguire has a new exhibition at augmented reality installation at Pálás Galway.

The current exhibition at Pálás Galway ‘Project Archetype’ by artist and photographer Martin Maguire was commissioned by UNISCO Galway City of Film and runs until the end of December. It was launched at the recent double anniversary event celebrating 30 years of Galway Film Centre and 5 years of Galway as UNESCO City of Film.

Inspiration for the project comes from a fascination with the archetypical characters in literature, film and art throughout history and how they retain relevance today.
