Deadline is reporting that Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Michael Nyqvist has signed on to star in Dundalk director John Moore’s newest film I.T.
The film sees Pierce Brosnan play a successful businessman, who was once a thug in his youth but has since changed his ways. He discovers that his company’s new I.T. employee is actually a dangerous madman who’s out to destroy the businessman and his family.
As well as Nyqvist and Brosnan, I.T. stars Stefanie Scott, James Frechville, and Anna Friel. Pre-production is currently taking place with shooting due to take place in Dublin later this year.
The film is Moore’s first since the underwhelming A Good Day To Die Hard, and sees him team up with Terminator 2: Judgment Day writer William Wisher and Timber Falls writer Daniel Kay, on a story idea from Little Miss Sunshine co-producer David Friendly. Voltage is currently selling the film at the Cannes Film Festival. David T. Friendly, Craig Flores, Nicolas Chartier and St. Clair are producers, and Macdara Kelleher, Frank Hildebrand and Elyka Portnoy are exec producers.
