The Irish Film Board has released their new trailer for Irish film in 2016. The trailer will be familiar to those who have attended films at the Audi Dublin International Film Festival as it plays before each screening.
The video features clips from the Oscar-nominated Room and Brooklyn, as well as forthcoming Irish Film Board backed features, including John Carney’s heart-warming musical Sing Street, Rebecca Daly’s emotional powerful Mammal, Paddy Breathnach’s colourful and moving Viva, Peter Murphy and Rachel Moriarty’s hard-hitting Traders, and Simon Fitzmaurice’s life-affirming My Name is Emily.
These films highlight the latest crop of Irish cinema that has received IFB backing and shows that the current wave of successful Irish cinema is just the beginning of something truly remarkable.
