My great friends Why So Serious? are hosting another cult comedy classic at the Grand Social this Wednesday evening. This time it’s Groundhog Day, the 1993 classic time-travelling comedy.

The film, directed by Harold Ramis, stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, an incredibly self-involved Pittsburgh TV weatherman who, during an assignment at the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, gets stuck in a time loop, doomed to repeat the same day again and again.

Best thing of all, this screening is FREE. That’s right. FREE.  Doors are at 7PM and screening starts at 8PM.

The films are curated and presented by Brogen Hayes (, Rory Cashin (, Mary Burke (Fingal Film Festival) and Brian Lloyd (Spin 103.8). Be sure to check out the guys on YouTube where they present a great monthly guide to all things cinema.
