On Sunday 24th February , TOG Hackerspace in Dublin 8 will host its very own Irish themed Oscar night “The OIRscars” in celebration of the Irish films nominated for the Oscars this year.
Doors open at 9pm with the OIRscar’s own take on the red carpet and guests are welcome to dress up as their favourite movie star, director or film character.
From 10pm to 11pm there will be a mock presentation of awards based on votes accumulated between now and 8pm that night. Whether or not you attend on the night, you still can have your say on who YOU think should win by filling in this anonymous form below

The Oscars broadcast will be screened from 12am with red carpet coverage and will run until 5am and it can all be watched on the big screen from the cosy sofas at TOG Hackerspace.
This event will be a great opportunity to network with film fans and filmmakers in this intimate and creative venue.
There is a suggested entry donation of €5 which goes towards the upkeep of the communtity space.
Guests are welcome to BYO drinks and snacks. Its a long night so feel free to drop in at any time!
