A bunch of the original props and costumes from the Lord of the Rings are set to go on display in Ireland for the first time.
The collection, which is due for auction in Los Angeles in December, will be on display at the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons.
The items, which form the Power of the Ring Collection, include Sauron’s helmet, Frodo’s sword Sting, the Shards of Narsil and Gandalf the Wizard’s Staff.
The exhibit will open at 9am on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2013 and will run until November 17th, opening Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm and Sunday and Bank Holidays 11am – 6pm.
