There’s something for everyone at Light House Dublin and Pálás Galway this Valentine’s Weekend.
The weekend kicks off early on Thursday in Light House with Galentine’s Day screenings of National Theatre Live’s production of Phoebe Waller Bridge’s one-woman show Fleabag.
On Valentine’s Day in both Light House Dublin and Pálás Galway they will present a very special preview screening of Celine Sciamma’s hugely anticipated Cannes hit Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Later on Valentine’s Night will see the return of Tommy Wiseau’s disasterpiece The Room, with the rest of the weekend dedicated to three stone cold classics; their first ever screening of Dirty Dancing, and the now almost traditional Valentine’s screening of Rob Reiner’s The Princess Bride and recent addition to the cult canon Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive.
They are also screening Autumn De Wilde’s stylish adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma starring Anya Taylor Joy as the meddlesome matchmaker from Friday 14th.
And if romance isn’t your thing, get the gang together for a brand new 4K restoration of The Lost Boys. That soundtrack deserves a good speaker system!
There is something for everyone for Valentine’s weekend in Light House and Pálás.
