Just when you thought it was safe to go back to camp, the Jameson Cult Film Club returns to Dublin for a double screening of the 1981 horror classic Friday The 13th Part II on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd October.
Continuing on from previous successful Jameson Cult Film Club screenings of Fight Club, Predator, Jaws, and Intermission, organisers will be challenged with transporting the audience right back to the errie surroundings of Packanack Lodge on the shores of Crystal Lake, with the help of live theatre, props and themed special effects timed perfectly with on-screen action.
Camp Crystal Lake is looking for new victims, if you want to be part of the body count, register for free tickets on www.JamesonCultFilmClub.ie
These free events are much more than just your typical screening as the secret venue is only revealed to ticket holders and will be completely transformed into a series of sets from the movie. Lucky ticket holders can expect to be greeted by a crazed and indestructible Jason Voorhees, terrorised by Crazy Ralph on his bike and find out exactly what Jason was keeping in his cabin.
Following the screening, the party will continue in true Jameson style with DJ Aidan Kelly taking to the decks while guests enjoy ‘New Jersey’ Burgers and Jameson, Ginger and Lime long drinks.
