Film Fatale, Dublin’s most glamorous bi-monthly film event, is back! For those that don’t know Film Fatale is all about bringing back a touch of Hollywood glamour to the cinemas of Dublin. Their latest event is a tribute to the late Jane Russell, the screen siren of the 1940s and ‘50s, with a screening of the classic Hollywood comedy Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
The screening, will be followed by a themed after-party including performances by Film Fatale’s own Marilyn and Jane Russell. They will be backed by the rip-roaring Jazz Cats and DJs The Andrews Sisters Brothers, playing music from the films era.
The audience is invited to help set the scene by dressing in their finest vintage clothing and snappiest suits, or going all out as 1950s starlets and showgirls. Sounds like quite a night!
The event is set for Saturday April 2nd at 8pm in The Sugar Club, 8 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2. Tickets, which are priced €15, are available at tickets.ie. The after-party kicks off at 11pm with tickets at the door (€5).. For more information see their website or follow them on Facebook.
