They’ve also announced that for the first time ever, their Disney Store will offer fans of all ages a range of Star Wars products including action figures, luggage bags, children dress up, as well as a range of apparel, stationary and plush toys. The new product offering includes Star Wars themed items such as Saga Legends action figures (Mace Windu, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Shock Trooper, Super Battle Droid and R4-P17), a Darth Vader voice changer helmet, extending lightsaber, Chewbacca plush and Star Wars Stormtrooper t-shirts, with prices ranging from €10 – 48.

Now that the marketing is over on to the more important stuff! The Disney Store will be hosting a series of exciting in-store events and competitions to celebrate “May the 4th” (#starwarsday), the global fan-driven celebration of all things Star Wars.
Activity will kick-off from today with a major in-store, online and social media campaign. Disney Store guests can also enter a competition to win 12 collector cards based on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and an exclusive Star Wars pin.
From 2nd- 4th May, Disney Store guests of all ages can take part in the free Disney Store activity called ‘Ways of the Force’. This experience will provide children with the opportunity to learn some of the skills of the Jedi including how to use a lightsaber.
On Saturday 3rd May, Star Wars Stormtroopers will be making appearances throughout the day at Disney Store on Grafton Street, Dublin between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm to meet and greet fans (*). In addition, guests can begin to collect a series of 12 collector cards based on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, two of which will be given away during the weekend.
Further Star Wars events are planned for later in the year to celebrate the launch of the much-anticipated animated series Star Wars Rebels, when Disney Store will roll-out further product lines, closer to the series’ launch on Disney XD and Disney Channel this autumn.
We can only imagine what they’ll cook up between now and the Star Wars Episode 7 release date on December 18th, 2015.
