Classic film season returns to the Ormonde Stillorgan

Classic film season returns to the Ormonde Stillorgan this October to December, with the legendary south county Dublin venue playing host to six great movies spanning six decades.

After the success of last run the Ormonde is proud to screen a memorable oldie every fortnight starting with with Point Blank, on Wednesday October 13th. To add to the magic this screening will be introduced by the two-time Academy Award nominated director, John Boorman.

The other movies in the season are Swedish horror masterpiece Let The Right One In, Hitchcock’s sublime Anatomy Of A Murder, the Jack Nicholson starring Chinatown, Sean Connery’s star turn in The Man Who Would Be King, and the perennial Christmas classic It’s A Wonderful Life. Each will be introduced by a notable guest including author John Connolly and film criti John Maguire.

All of the movies will screen at 8pm and tickets cost €9. Booking is open from now on the Ormonde website.
