#Industry: Bow Street celebrates 1st Anniversary partnership with Spotlight

Bow Street will celebrate its 1st anniversary partnership with Spotlight with a series of talks, workshops, and a party on May 17th at the famed acting school in Smithfield.

Stars of stage and screen along with industry professionals will be attending the various events including a talk with Actor/Writer Mark O’Halloran (Adam & Paul, Viva), and a Casting Q&A with Casting Directors Julie Harkin (War & Peace, This Is England ’90) Carla Stronge (Game of Thrones, The Fall), and Maureen Hughes (Love/Hate, Once).

Spotlight – The Home of Casting set up their Irish office in Bow Street a year ago offering professional performers in Ireland the chance to promote themselves to casting professionals locally, in the UK and worldwide. They also help casting and production professionals in Ireland find the right performers for their projects and to work more efficiently than ever by using their advanced online tools.

Its been a busy year for Bow Street having not only established this partnership with Spotlight but also set up Bow Street Talent Agency, Young Filmmakers Academy and launched their web series Bow Street Meets. With multiple courses and workshops conducted in stunning facilities, students also get to avail of a new fully equipped premium casting studio set up with Spotlight. Powered by state-of-the-art casting technology they offer students, casting and production professionals a high-quality experience.

Alumni of Bow Street like Jack Reynor (Glassland), Barry Keoghan (Mammal), Seana Kerslake (A Date With Mad Mary), Nika McGuigan (Traders), and Terry O Neill (Dawn), whose work continues to garner great reviews, are expected to attend the celebrations along with Star Wars Casting Director Jessica Sherman.
