Fund It! – Irish horror short Ground Floor

Limerick based production company Spade Lion Productions are looking for crowd-funding to help bring their latest horror short to life.

Directed by Paddy Murphy, and titled Ground Floor, the short is the third in a trilogy of horror shorts dubbed The Psychosis Trilogy, and (finance permitting) will feature American actress Tristan Risk (American Mary, House of Manson).

The film tells the tale of Amanda (Tristan Risk), a foxy lady who finds her resolve tested when she gets trapped in an elevator with a charming magician named Lucius (Steve Spade). It turns out that this magician claims to be the devil!

The campaign has 16 days left to run, with the company looking to raise $8,800 to begin shooting in December. The money will go towards will help bring Tristan to Ireland, as well as securing the best equipment and building the lift/elevator required for shooting.

Two of the three films in The Psychosis Trilogy (Ensnared and Devil on My Back) are already in the can. And the ambitious studio plans on shooting their first horror feature in June of next year.

As is standard with crowd-funding campaigns each donation point provides a perk, with contribution points ranging from $5 to $10,000. Check out the promo above and poster below and consider giving this project the help it needs. All details can be found on Indiegogo.
